It is our endeavor to ensure that our graduates become the highest qualified and most sought after job candidates for long term care facilities, hospitals, hospice centers, assisted living facilities, adult foster care homes, and other locations requiring the professional skill of Certified Nurse Aides. Graduates of the CNAplus™ program will be certified in Restorative Nursing, Hospice/End-of-Life Care, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care, and Nurse Aide Medication Administration. According to our research, facilities in the area are more likely to consider applicants who have these credentials in addition to their general Nurse Aide certification. "

Nurse Aide Training Program

Description: Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate of completion and qualify to take the exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant registered in the State of Michigan. Nurse Aides in the State of Michigan are eligible to work in long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes, assisted living, and adult foster care. Description: DRM offers this class both for certification and recertification. This class will fulfill the nursing students’ core curriculum as well as the requirements for all healthcare providers like nurses, dentists, etc. Students will receive training in infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid along with Blood Borne Pathogens. This is a certification class.

Description: Students will learn how to write a resume that draws the attention of hiring managers, how to prepare themselves for an interview, what to expect in an interview, and how to sell themselves. Graduates of this class will become their own very effective commercial and the top candidate for every job. Included in the training is instruction on understanding the job market, resume writing, personal preparation for the interview process, interviewing expectations, and effective follow-up. Graduates from other DRM International Learning Center certification programs are automatically enrolled in the Certified Job Candidate training program at no additional charge. "
