DRM International Learning Center
The DRM International Learning Center was founded as a result of many requests made for training by DRM Private Home Healthcare Provider clients. Our home health aides have always received outstanding training in preparation for caring for our clients. Other agencies discovered the extent to which we develop our aides before they are sent on assignments and asked us to help prepare their staff as well.
Taking those requests to another level was the next step in the growth and development of our business. Providing professional, competent, compassionate, and well trained staff is of the utmost importance. For that reason, DRM International Learning Center was born.
Located right in Lansing, DRM ILC is easy to get to, and the classes are well structured to meet the educational needs of home health aides as well as certified nursing assistants.
Advanced Home Health Aide Course- The Advance Course will cover the same classroom content with a little more detail and time provided. However, the Advance Course will also include 51 hours of “hands on” in the field training. This course will also receive CPR/First Aid training. At the end of the class students will take a state test and become Certified Home Health Aides through MHHA. The timeline for the advanced course is a total of 4.5 days in the classroom for lecture and lab time, and 6.5 days will be in the field. The list of necessary fees is located on our Tuition page.

The curriculum of education will provide 75 hours of training with 16 hours of core curriculum prior to direct involvement with residents. Actual time spent with the residents will be 32 hours of clinical time.
