CNA and CNAplus™ Programs

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Training Program

Graduates of our CNA program are trained to help care for physically or mentally ill, injured, disabled, or infirm individuals in hospitals, nursing care facilities, and mental health settings. Our graduates who gain employment in nursing care facilities often are the principal caregivers, having far more contact with residents than do other members of the staff. They have the opportunity to develop ongoing relationships with their residents and interact with them in a positive, caring way. Upon completion of the CNA courses, students are eligible to sit for the State certification exam. They are also eligible for our CNAplus™ program.

CNAplus™ Program Information

The CNAplus™ program is an extension of the Nurse Aide Training Program offered by DRM International Learning Center. It is our endeavor to ensure that our graduates become the highest qualified and most sought after job candidates for long term care facilities, hospitals, hospice centers, assisted living facilities, adult foster care homes, and other locations requiring the professional skill of Certified Nurse Aides. Graduates of the CNAplus™ program will be certified in Restorative Nursing, Hospice/End-of-Life Care, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care, and Nurse Aide Medication Administration. According to our research, facilities in the area are more likely to consider applicants who have these credentials in addition to their general Nurse Aide certification.
