It is the policy of DRM ILC to administer an entrance exam to all potential students. If a candidate is unable to pass the exam, he or she will be referred for tutoring with the Literacy Coalition or another source that can help. All applicants must submit a copy of their high school diploma or GED certificate or higher credential to enroll in DRM ILC programs. All prospective students must meet the requirements of the State of Michigan for all programs. Tuition payments must be received two weeks prior to the start of the course start date. No credit will be given for previous education and training. It is the responsibility of each applicant to obtain their own funding for each program (privately or via a community agency).
CNA
CNAplus™ Program
Students who wish to drop DRM International Learning Center's courses may do so by a personal visit to the office. However, all requests for tuition REFUND must be made in writing no later than one week prior to the start of class in order for students to receive a refund. All money will be returned except registration and administrative fees. Students who start the training and choose to withdrawal for any reason must submit a written withdrawal request prior to the start of the second day of class. They will be issued a partial refund of 50% from DRM. After the start of the second day of class, no refund will be owed to any student. If an applicant is rejected for admission by the school before classes begin, all tuition minus registration and administrative fees will be refunded to the applicant. After the third day of class, students who are recessed and/or suspended due to failing to meet the state required grading criteria (a 75% or above on each test/quiz/assignment) will not be awarded a refund. Our C.N.A and CNAPlus™ courses both start on the same day, therefore the refund policy is the same. Delays may occur in processing if an enrollee has not provided the school with a current address. NOTE: Any refund may take up to 30 days to process.
